About Diane
Diane grew up in Michigan and began riding at the age of 14. She competed in western, english, dressage and jumping in 4-H and local horse shows. She gave lessons and trained various horses until she was 22 years old, when she decided to focus on dressage. Her desire was to learn everything she could about the sport.
In order to improve her riding and gain a solid training foundation, Diane spent many years working for and training extensively with many FEI trainers throughout the United States and Europe, including Betsy Steiner, Ashley Holzer and, most recently, Heather Blitz. In 2006, she took several of her horses to Germany and spent six months riding with olympic coach Conrad Schumacher. She received daily coaching and instruction from Mr. Schumacher, and gained valuable knowledge about his training system that she has incorporated into her own.

“My name is Sue Haggerty and I live on Long Island, NY and have ridden since I was ten years old. I purchased my first horse at age 48 which was a life time dream of mine. I bought Bijou, a 5 year old Dutch warmblood mare (shown at training level and training at first level) in 2011 from a reputable facility with the guidance of a trainer and was on top of the world. Within 6 months, my “fun filled, exciting midlife project of owning and training my own horse” was falling apart with less and less successful rides and a rearing behavior that appeared-my worst nightmare. At this time (Dec. 2011) I found Diane Rodich’s website online and sent her an email regarding my situation and what advice she could give me never having met me or my horse. Diane, who was located in New Jersey at the time, responded with a lengthy email giving me suggestions and even offered to come to my barn and assist in assessing my mare if need be.Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetuer adipiscing elit eget.
